It's all a matter of personal preference. So you are saying that with everything the exact same, cars with different colors are worth more or less money? So a black E55 wagon is more or less expensive than a silver one? I don't think so. Not trying to argue with you dude, you can spend as much as you want on a car makes no difference to me. I'm just telling you that someone got taken @ 43K.
I think I remember the car you're talking about. It was a few months ago and it had a pile of miles (relatively speaking of course) and that is precisely why I passed on it...... I was merely giving you an example to disprove your comment about all colors are equal when it comes to resale. If you have enough $ you can get any color you want...... I do believe that on limited production cars (like the E55 wagon) some colors will always draw more $. On your run of the mill E55 color is probably not going to bring any more $, it may hurt you but probably won't help $. The majority of Merc's are silver and black so almost any other color is rare.... j/k!

Who's arguing dude????

Nope. Not jest. In todays market the book can't possibly keep up....... In a more stable market probably pretty accurate.

04 - 06 e55 Wagon - looking for
Guys, what we have here is a bidding war on top of a small price premium for the color. Look winner trump them all and came in at the last second.

One can never guess the emotions for buying or selling. I've been watching the Wagon market for a long time and I have seen two Capri Wagons thus far. I would pay a 1K - 2K premium max to get Capri Blue, but not 10K - 14K over. The key to Ebay, is great pictures and presentation, no or very low minimum bid and let the market take care of the rest.

A bidding war is not good, but I suppose bragging rights are worth it to the winner (puff out and beat on chest). But a bidding war against a shill bidder is priceless

Don't get me wrong on my comments as I too believe this car is significantly over the market even for a rare color and rare wagon.......

If anyone wants to give me that for mine...... Let's talk!

Assuming the bids are all legit. Or the buyer goes thru with the deal. Watch the car, it might come up again for sale.

You know how it is on eBay.

^^^lasted only for a couple days and gone.

Next, a scam ad at $28,000

Today, original owner has it listed again for $42,100.

A little OT, but somewhat related. Autotrader is showing a 2007 e63 Wagon with P2 Package, Flint Metallic Grey/Blk interior, 27.5K miles including 100K mile factory warranty. It looks loaded sans distronic and perhaps 3rd row seat, but the description states 2nd row bench seat. Dealer is asking $61,995. I would think this car is worth $49K - $55K, but the P2 package is the wild card on this.

That wagon is for sale on Autotrader for $38.7K. Looks like it was also for sale back in 07 for $65K I wouldn't purchase this unless I personally knew the owner and had the complete history.

E55 Wagon

These are the same pictures that were posted of this vehicle several years ago. I asked the seller if they could provide some new pics of the car and I never got a response.

Did anyone on here buy this car?
