Yes in the five years I blew the transmission two times. One time I cracked my oil pan when I went airborne on my own street at 150mph. One time I took an exit at 95mph and slammed my wheel sidways into the curb and broke both front arms and struts, so far I Replaced almost every pump in the car. Replaced almost every pully Went through 7 sets of tires and 4 sets of brakes. I drive the car very very hard. I spent too much on repairs gaskets, converter for the exhaust.

Love my 04 with 119k. I've owned it since 08 and have put a majority of the miles on it. Still flies and the cabin is as quiet as a tomb and it cleans up beautifully. When things go bad it gets expensive, but that's how it is with these cars. This car also eats tires and brakes. It's a fun diet though!

My 2005 E55 chassis has 140k, Including transmission. Original motor was pulled and built by Weistec and swapped into my buddies car. Now, I have a very clean 2006 motor with only 50k and love it. Runs stronger then my original motor when it had same mileage.
Very meticulous about servicing all aspects of my car in and out. Have kept up with all scheduled maintenance.

2006 E55 AMG
Still my daily driver... I am at 125k... nothing major so far outside of the usual pitfalls which are well documented on this forum. My goal is 200k but it will take a while as I am down to about 10k/year. Mine is a 2006.

Oh yea what would have been the point in buying it if I didn't use what it's really for (performance). I was 19 when I first bought the amg I'm 24 now and glad to be alive from all of the early stupid driving and close calls especially driving on the back roads fun fun and going 175mph . Everything ACCEPT for the way I drive has obviously changed from maturity. I live free and drive hard. If my engine blows I'll buy another engine. this is a guys thing just as fishing is for others..if the car God forbid ever gets totalled I'll open a thread here to asking to purchase someones E55. I seriously am going to keep the E55's AMG W211 MODEL for a long time.

2007 Mercedes E63 AMG
2007 E63 AMG now has 108,514 miles on it. Had the conductor plate changed last year when I picked the car up. Now dealing with AirMatic 5508 code. Also dealing with a leak from engine oil hard line gasket off the side of the block. Besides that, love the car and haven't had any other major concerns at the moment.

2008 E63 currently at 69k. Bought the car at 58k 6 months ago.
Items changed..
1) Valve covers
2) Regulator/Alternator
3) Left strut
4) Intake manifold bolts (not head bolts)
5) Tranny oil / Engine oil
Not much else.

100k miles on my cls 55, runs strong and just did the pulley/ headers 6k miles ago all has been fine except the common problems posted in the forum.
Have you guys been replacing your fuel filter/sending units every 60k?

Great question, I replaced mine before. I'm due for another. Been using fuel system cleaner to keep things clean. Anyone else?

I am just doing my first now, contemplating relocating the fuel filter and taking the stock one out, and keeping a eye on fuel pressure until it drops, if so then replace the pumps. As I don't think its needed more of a money grab.

138,000miles. I don't commute in it every day but I drive it every day. I used to ride my motorcycle after work until some distracted driver decided to pull out in front of me, no more bike. Now I take my 4200 lb beast out for my post work chill ride. I have had the car since 57,000 miles. Runs strong, maintained well, I love my beast

2006 E55, currently at 143k. Bought it a few weeks ago with 140k. Perfect for long distance trips, size, power, comfort and stealth. Looks like a 10 year old benz, which isn't a bad thing, but I never stick out attention wise.
I'm going to drive this until the engine blows up.
Then rebuild or put a different engine in it and do it again. Can't believe you are getting a near 100k car for 10% or so.
