ESP Malfunction after dead batt

Hello all,

I let my friend drive my car home, he left the headlights on. Woke up the next day to a dead car. instead of jumping the car i removed the batt and took it to advance auto where they put it on a slow charge it reached 11.9 volts and then put on quick charge and it reached 12.67 volts. From what i was told a perfect batt reaches 12.68 volts but they said this batt was real good.

I putt the batt back into the car and fired up and got ESP malfunction, the supercharger works everything is fine, but the traction control isnt working if i press the throttle it roast the tires like if traction control was off. ****werid thing is, is when i fire it up it dosent come up right away only if i press the esp button or hit the throttle and it spins the tires, ive searched but havent read anyone with similar issues.

all help and comments appreciated.

Thanks.

I just walked out to car during a quick break at work and turned it on and pressed teh ESP and said ESP not available see operators manual. so i turned it off turned it back on and took it for a ride and i pinned the trottle and traction was back to working and i was able to turn it on and off, pretty wierd. anyone have this happen before?

Everytime you remove the battery, you have to resync the ESP.

Start the car in the garage and with car in park, turn steering wheel from lock to lock (end to end) 1-2 times.

Sounds dumb but it's the only way to resync your ESP.

If your light doesn't come on again then I guess you are fine, but if she comes on again, that is your solution.

Maybe you sync'd it on lucky accident turning it end to end pulling out of parking spot or somethin.
