2006 E55 Wagon (RIP), 2019 E63S Wagon (Sold) 2023 AMG GT634S
Do the exhaust tips turn round in person?
Design should complement function - not go against it.
I am sure the car is "better" than my 2006.
I still have issues with the aesthetics.
I like the way my 1996 Viper GTS looks more than the 2009 ACR. But - the ACR is by far the "better" car. GTS still turns more heads.
It's a design statement.

So the W212 shifts like a dream and throttle blips the down shifts.
Handling is so much better.
One of the chief engineers from AMG at Laguna Seca said that the E and C are equivalent in track performance at this point. Some of the instructors give the edge to the C, but with the better HP, the top speeds would likely be higher in the E. The E also has a new generation of ESP to keep it ahead.
The statement about the look of the dash is far exceeded by the utility of the dash. The command system is a huge leap forward and moving the display up significantly reduces eye travel from the road.
No, I do not like the rear.

I drove the new E63 - I know didle about the C... In sport sharp, auto, not shifting, it still does throttle bliping, when you hit the breaks and it down shifts on its own, it's sick! Exterior is ugly and does NOT grow on you in person, but you do start to ignore it when you drive it. interior grows on you, interment cluster is EPIC!!! It felt really good, very sharp and yet refined. I'd trade up if I wasn't stuck financially. Distronic plus and all the other tech goodies are amazing, I really like it all.
It's like that girl that isn't so hot, but shes got the moves, loves to suck dick and is good at it. You start to get over the looks and enjoy the ride =]

I test drove the new E63 last night. Of course the front is great and the back is alright. The interior is sporty and I love the new navi.
I couldn't get on the car hard but from what I experienced the handling is better and the power felt about the same.
Overall I wasn't that impressed.
When I returned to the dealer I sat in a 2010 S550 while I waited for the salesman to return. We went for a test drive and I felt like a millionaire driving that mini limo.
I hate to say this but maybe I am starting to grow a little older because I am really digging the S550 (I'm only 32). If I can learn to live without 500 hp then the S550 may be my next car.

I love this car - absolutely sexy...
Unfortunately I think that car is an 030 car...Not the base wheels or steering wheel
And I think the back end is absolutely beautiful - at night, spectacular...
