2006 E55 AMG
Jack's car is just plain fast for a stock E55. The last time we had a gathering, for comparison purposes, we had a stock E63 go 113 and a tuned only E55 go 116. At this time Jack's car was trapping 117-118 in 85 degree weather. Plain and simple.....Jack hammered it today and came out with a long awaited accomplishment. Once again great job Jack!!!!! Well deserved.

The 95 degree thingy makes you a liar. Jacks car in 95 degrees would not be close to 119, funny you discuss your car and a 1/4 mile pass here

Best run so far for my stock 05 pewter e55:

60' 2.031
1/8 8.099
mph 90.95
1/4 12.381
mph 114.92

This was hot lapping the car with zero cool down and 1k rpm launch's.Im gonna try 2k next time out and see if I can get an 11 second slip.Im certain its there.Car is every bit as impressive as my bolt-on pump gas/alky GN.

K40 is installed and only mod planned is CAI for now.

Whats your best 1/4??

Looks like DA was very very good. Alan why did you not go for 10's today?

Jack congrats I said a bunch of factors would need to happen and yes this likely was a one time event.

I invite you to Famoso

A generous tailwind would help as well. :-)

That is almost 5 years old when I first bought the car....

There are SEVERAL people who can verify on this site(www.alabamaracingscene.com) the car went mid 7's in the 1/8 at a huge street car shootout a few years ago.The might not remeber the exact #,just that it went mid 7's which would equate to ALOT better than 12.1's,ALOT.

Some people need to get a life......

Ill bet my e55 will burn mr 6000+ posts *** and it would do it STOCK.

Remember, when Motor Trend tested these cars new,a few ran 11.9's@121.

Every car ive seen always runs alot slower than the posted factory times though, esp on this site.I blame it on Benz drivers not knowing what they are doing.Read a few of u guys posts and anyone with mechaincal incling would know most here dont know jack about racing a car or even working on them for that matter.

U wanna talk BS??You saying your car cut a 1.4x 60ft is total!!!No way would these cars cut that without slicks or drag radials and ALOT more mods.

Somthing blew in front of the 60ft timer u poor naive *******.

I beg to differ on the MB drivers not knowing how to drive. You act like these cars are difficult to drive down the track.... I've only been to the track 8 times in my car and the last 4 I've been hitting mid to high 1.6's. These cars are some of the easiest cars to drive...period.

What does working on your car have to do with racing your car . You don't know how to spell mechanical, does that make you less mechanically inclined, no. You and Juicee both said your peace now please leave this thread alone and take all the other bs to pm's. Way too many threads have been getting mucked up by these kinds of arguments. Not trying to be a ***** but let's preserve this thread and keep it positive. This is the exact reason why I wish not to post my times anymore.

BTW...if you think so little of us here on MBW go post somewhere else.

Ok Broke1, I have to stop you there! I was there when Juicee cut the 1.4 60' and he is running a R compound tire (I forget which one) bottom line is his 60' was legit. Please show me the Motor Trend article showing a E55 going 11.9@121. What's funny about my last few runs are that I've been on this board for almost 5yrs and for most of those 5yrs Enzom has held the reign of the Fastest Stock E55. Many if not all members of this board have to tried to beat him and it did not happen which led to most people modding their cars. In Sept I ran a 119.22 and now another member claims some guy went 119 as well but no one has heard about it. Fast forward to present day you pop up and say you out ran me with a 119.5 and then I'm sure you read my other post where I just went 120.15 and now you say Motor Trend tested a E55 and ran 121?

So let me ask you and everyone else this if I said I went faster than 121 would any of you say or come up with "well I know a guy who went 122 stock" I don't care if someone is not a internet or forum junkie, if you run a kick *** run wheter it be et or trap speed post it and be proud!
