2x L.E.T./Eurocharged/Code3 211 E55k's go mid 12s at 113ish.
Ran out to the track on a whim with lackluster results...granted, we went to have a good time without much prep (or checking the weather). We both feel like the cars are missing 4-5 mph on the big end and are open to ideas.
It was cool- about 74*, but 100% humidity. I didn't bring my laptop so I wasn't able to log- but my air fuel seemed to be around 11.00 at WOT every time I checked the gauge, and my IATs got up around 160 on the last pass off the night on the big end. Possible the Heat Exchanger doesn't work very well in high humidity?
My car:
Eurocharged 172mm pulley
LET Tune
Code3 HE and CM30 pump
180? Thermostat
Secondary Cats and Resonator Deleted.
20" Monarch Euro 63 Wheels
106k miles. 2005 model
His car:
ASP 178?mm pulley
LET Tune
Code3 HE and CM30
LET? Shorty/log style Headers into stock cats and resonator.
19" HRE 547 Wheels on radial tires
90k mile 2004 model
First run (mine/his):
60- 2.19/2.09
330- 5.58/5.43
1/8et- 8.33/8.14
1/8mph- 89.02/90.27
1/4et- 12.73/12.49
1/4mph- 112.67/113.09
Next pass I opened up my dry 20 shot to try and even up the tables...only used a little in 3rd gear to stay out front.
Second run (mine/his):
60- 1.94/2.05
330- 5.24/5.41
1/8et- 7.94/8.15
1/8mph- 90.45/89.30
1/4et- 12.28/12.52
1/4mph- 113.61/113.52
Open to thoughts, ideas, suggestions...please refrain from "Use the drag radials you have sitting in the garage." or "why didn't you use the 150 shot instead?" :-) Should have a video of the first pass up tomorrow-thanks!

I would think with your mods, minus the cheater bottle
, you should be trapping 116+
I'm basing that on a buddy's stock(ish) SL55. The only thing that car has is a LET/Eurocharged shelf tune, that's it. I was able to pilot that car to a 12.03@114
Did you get the tune first, or after your pulley and cooling mods? You know where I'm going with this. The tune should be last, and it should be a custom dyno tune after your bolt-ons.

Tune was last- this car went 12.2@120 on a 2.3 60ft hot lapping without the bottle with the same mods a few months ago on an 80* night. Wondering where my 6mph went. Different track. maybe 1-2mph, different wheels (heavier than stock 18s?) maybe a few mph...just seems odd...

As humid as the track was, I tried to feather/roll into the throttle...resulted in a 2.7...these runs were with ESP on, rolling into the throttle.
Tires were Vredestein 20" radials at 40psi on mine...I'd guess about the same on his.

I have found that any HE set up with out separate coolant circuit, will not perform as well.
I finally got around to do it... and its make the biggest difference.. specially for pullies over 172mm..
I would buy a separate reservoir and remove that T splitter that connects your engine coolant and IC coolant.
I also have the T-stat mod.. and that really don't help either.
100% will definitely will take away power.. since cars like dry air for better combustion.

I ran a 2.0 60ft and traped 123 @11.8 in the Vette, humidity was bad and the temperature in the low 70's.
It was the first time I saw an AMG there besides mine, usually its just a redneck fest. Here is a crappy pic I took with my phone.

Thanks for grabbing a pic man.
I can log up to 4 channels from the odbII + my wideband to the laptop-when I bring it along.
Typically I'll watch IAT, TIMING, RPM, MAP pressure and wideband...any suggestions on the mix?
