can't decide whether I dislike the exhaust tips more than the taillights. I didn't think it was possible, but the more I see those damn tips I realize there is something worst than the taillights.

Has anyone read the C&D compairison between the new XFR, CTS V and E63?
I was amazed to see the 63 came out first. I thought they would play the "price card" and let the CTS V take first place..
Its 0-60 and 1/4 mile times they recorded were all faster the CTS V! However the V had a 6 speed and not the auto, which is faster according to them.
I did not buy the mag, just skimmed through it while shopping, if anyone has it could you post the recorded times.

i agree on the rear of the car, the front definetly has that aggresive look to it but cant say the same for the rest, its a shame really-perhaps w211 is the best shape ever???

It seems as though the newer the AMG's become the less they lose their once disguinshable look between all other average cars. I'm not sure if it is the tail lights, pipes, fatter body or thicker, or what? I just think the w211's were better. What you guys think?

One of the things among many that you have to see in person. The car is a stud in person and quicker than the old E63.

2014 CTS-V (6spd, phantom grey), 2010 Cadillac Escalade ESV (black raven)
I test drove it last week.
The exhaust and low end grunt was unreal!
The steering feel was precise and direct; the handling was extremely crisp.
I plan on getting it when my current lease ends...
My only complaint is that this car does not come with LSD!!! Come on!!
For the price you pay for this car, you would think that the LSD would be included.
If you order the P30 package with the LSD, from the reviews that I've read, the suspension and ride become unbearably stiff.
So my only dilemma is whether or not to get the Performance Package. I'm leaning towards NOT getting it.

I don't get the NO-lsd thing, is it to prevent axles and drive components from breaking? Even the new mazdazpeed 3's have lsd standard. Can someone explain the no-lsd thing from high end car manufacturers?

Overall, the car seems tight except for the exhaust tips. They seem a little tacky looking, esp. the side view...but that is me. I'd probably prefer dual exhaust tips...maybe merge the dual exhaust tips together into one.
