Facts:

1) The original question is way too open-ended to allow for meaningful discussion (but this doesn't justify the unnecessary attacks).
2) Full Throttle is a complete tool.
3) This thread sucks for the reasons above.

Now can we all just agree to never respond to another post by Full Throttle (at least not until he can actually contribute in a positive and constructive way)?

Not as telling as your comments. Why don't you get a life and stop cruising this forum for opportunities to take shots at other people?

So the CLS55 is 40 pounds lighter? It is actually heavier and by more than 40pounds. At least I got the moron part right.

I am also right in my above statement when I said get a life. You have been on this forum for about 6 months and in that time you have posted over 600 times. That comes to over 3 posts a day every day 7 days a week!!!!!! Good grief man don't you anything better to do then spend hours everyday looking for opportunities to bolster your ego by attacking other people. I would say from the above comments by others that you are indeed a "tool" and you have finally been called out on it.

Here is a quote from a European car magazine (www.autozine.org/html/mercedes/CLS_class.html).

"The CLS body is 95mm longer, 51mm wider and 27mm lower than its sedan sister. Surprisingly, it is actually less aerodynamic efficient, as drag coefficient is 0.30, versus the sedan's 0.27. It also carries 50-85kg more than the sedan, so it is actually slower than the E-class with equivalent engines."

So you see you are wrong and by more than 100 pounds!! If you need help with the conversion from Kg to pounds let me know.
