Pay the valet, self park in front/valet reserved parking, keep keys.
Guns? yes in reach 24/7/365. Cash? yes more is better.

Kinda freaky knowing all of these guys are carrying loaded guns all over LA. What the hell are you guys doing that requires having a loaded piece on you just to go to dinner? Cash & guns = asking for trouble IMO?
And yes I'm a proud gun owner and believe in the right to bear arms. I just don't carry them in my car locked & loaded (kinda illegal in Cali). Texas is another story altogeher. I lived there 10 years, and everyone carries whether they "need to" or not. Some areas of Texas are much worse than others.

Makes LA seem tame compared to wild west Texas. Although mass shootings seem popular in TX. At least here we have just plain ol' gang banger single shootings.
I would never leave anything like guns, money, or DSLR in a car and hand the keys to a valet. WTF? Park it and walk. And why stash a 'wad of cash' in a car?
This sounds more like living in Russia.

What is the point of telling everyone on the internet that your car always has cash and a loaded gun in it? If you really do have a CCW as you claim, you should know better.

The day i had my wheels installed i had my car valet parked, it came back with curb rash on the passenger front wheel. I asked the guy about it and he said it was on there when the car arrived, I punched him in the mouth.

That sounds real mature......any chance it lead to you getting a free stay in the pokie?

I'm in Texas, have a concealed carry license and it's legal to keep a loaded firearm in your vehicle while traveling (even without the CHL). Since it isn't legal to carry into an establishment that make 51% or more of it's profit from the sale of alcohol, I threw my backup piece in the "non-locking" storage area. The one in the glove box and trunk should have been inaccessible to anyone as they were locked up-but where there is a will there is a way.

Thats fine that you have CCW permit...Just park the car yourself and don't have to worry about issues that can/will arise from being valeted!!

If he can legally own them they are on his property in the car, and therefore not important other than he was stating what a poor job the valet did and how there was property in the car.
We no longer live in a polite and respectful society(otherwise we wouldnt have locks and alarms and antitheft devices on our cars and homes) so the fact he carries a gun is prudent.
You guys need to ease up off his back a little.

Having a CCW- why the F would you leave 2 loaded guns in your car, then give it to a valet to park? You made the mistake and hopefully have learned from it now. One gun makes sense- more than one..why? Also why not CARRY the weapon rather than leave it in your car. I know thats what we do here w/CCW's.

You can't CCW in VA where there is alcohol served on premises. This bill has been up every and and shot down by the Governor!!!:-( So you would have to open carry. Maybe same thing applies in TX. But heck if you are going to carry concealed, why not just do so. Just don't print!!!

Yep, agreed- and you're right....unless you're a cop, federal employee w/CCW, or other law enforcement. I don't see why anyone else would CCW.

What difference do the guns make in this post?

I'm a hard core believer in the right to bear arms. My uncle is a member of the NRA and owns dozens of guns, assault rifles etc.. The difference is that he would NEVER post in a public forum that he's got them in his car. Loaded. We were all at one point or another obsessed with guns, some of our obsessions ended when we hit puberty tho.

Like being obsessed with AMGs? Cut the guys some freaking slack. Wether you think he should have posted something about weapons is irrelevant. You always have the option NOT to reply to the thread. Hopefully the fellow AMG owners who carry weapons (like I do) are responsible with them. I don't need advice from the peanut gallery telling me we should or shouldn't carry firearms.

Bro no one is saying you should or shouldn't carry. All I'm saying is no one give a f if you do. Keep it to yourself, you're not any cooler in my book because you drive around with loaded firearms.
