I love Lambos but hate the 670's Guage Cluster, it doesn't even halfway comeoff as a instrumentation cluster fit for a high dollar supercar...take a look... $450,000 surely isn't justified in this guage cluster, everything else on the car is insane in a good way except the wing and this horrid cluster.

I can barely write my name legibly and I could paint you a better cluster with a piece of cardboard and some sharpies. That's embarassing. Have you seen the cluster in the LF-A?? Now that's damn impressive.

00-02 w210 sport, eithier black on black or white on black. I'm leaning towards white on black and repainting the white pearl...I was set on 00-02 E55 but I'll settle for an E430 sport ///AMG kitted.

NO kidding, it looks like an old base generic Chevy/Ford cluster w/sh_tload of smileys tatt'd all over it

Love the E in every way, and look forward to years of good service... However, after coming from a BMW e66, I'd love to jump into a S63/65... I need's my space in a car!

No longer stock '06 E55, A3 3.2 Quattro, LRD4 HSE, R107 280SL
1. Definitely a sports car... rather than the current uber saloon. So how about an 997 PDK SPI Sledgehammer - assuming the tranny can cope?

2. Dream car? Has to be the McLaren F1. 15 years old still the king, and you got 3 seats!

Having said this I love the E55 and doubt I would sell it...... but I think I love the drivetrain more than the car. I drove my 330 bimmer around the other day and it was loads of fun throwing it around corners... sheesh I hate the E's air suspension.... lets leave it there.

Exactly! Either that or they took a liking to the Fisher Price power toys, the gauges look like a ink graphic print, I was shocked. The regular E-Class guages blow the 670s out the water, I love that setup as well as the new W204 cluster as well. I saw the LFAs cluster, amazing stuff.

The New W221 and W216 L Class LCD cluster makes this Lambos guage look like 5 centuries ago vs. modern times today as well. I don't think functionality was on their minds at all. They must of said " Let's throw some crap on there, the owners that paid $450,000 surely won't even bother with it and make it an issue". Boy were they wrong if they thought that. The Gallardo has a much more better setup than it.

For performance and great looking bang for the buck hp for the dollar. 996 Turbo + 10k = 6.XX second 60-130s and low low 11s and high 10s in a very streetable car, I read up on 6SpeedOnline and also know that the market for the K24/18g(most popular street turbo upgrade) for the 911 Turbo is now falling, 2 Supra shops Titan and Boost Logic now offer a kit that's very well priced without the Porsche tax. The GTR is another beast if you want to spend more but with little money becomes insane for straight performance figures, HKS 570 and some other bits got one guy in 2.9 second V-Box verified 0-60 time and 6.6 0-100 along with a 10.9 1/4 mile and 60-130 at 7.6. For the buck though, a 996 911 TT or 996 GT2 is an amazing pickup to get and have insane upside to mod and become at the top of the street food chain. I believe Art's car was at the MB Famoso meet, 5.XX 60-130mph beast that couldn't hookup and IIRC ran a 144 trap.

Depends on the weather
My next daily driver is going to be a Panamera and my next exotic is going to be an LP640 6sp. Both will be next spring.

1) A w212 e63 or maybe the new M5 depending on how it turns out.

2) Dream car? That depends how deep Im dreaming. A quick nap maybe a 911 turbo mk2 with dkg. A normal sleep, perhaps the upcoming 599 gto or an Aston Volante. A full on wet dream will most likely have me in a Zonda cinque or an enzo.

Checked out the Panamera, looks pretty ugly, IMHO. And Porsche come with absolutely nothing, you have to price out everything, including the floor mats and the Porsche emblem in the headrests.

I'm keeping my w211 E55, and E39 M5. In the not too distant future, I'll be selling my w124 500E. I'd like to get into a CLS55 / 63, or low mile '03 RS6.

If you have dibs on his E55 then I'll take the SL65. I have seen this car in person and no camera is capable of capturing the "wow" impact that this car creates.

PS: AMG Fan....OAC still meets in Orlando the last Saturday of each month and my invitation is a standing offer!

For anyone interested many of the dream cars in this thread are parked at our meet every month. Last month we had a Veyron and a Lambo SV as well as a couple hundred more ordinary examples. This is a completely free event thanks to the numerous sponsors that support our club.

I'm sure you're all aware of this, but the LAMBO's gauge cluster only has the speedo & tach lighted during normal use...all of those other lights only light up IF/WHEN they are triggered. The photo above makes the instrument cluster look pretty ridiculous.

This is what the Murci's gauges normally look like...
