How can I tell what tune I have?

I recently bought an 04 E55 from a dealer that I thought was stock since I did not know too much about mods for this car before I found this website. Turns out that I have headers, a pulley and I am assuming a tune. The dealership won't put me in contact with the previous owner, so i was wondering if their was a way to find out what tune , if any, I have?

Thanks

One way to tell is if by chance the tune is from the same company as the headers and pulley. If you post pics of them, we could tell you what brand they are.

I believe they are evosport headers because all cats are still on the car and I believe evosport has the only headers where you don't need to remove the cats..Also, I tried to measure the pulley and I believe it is a 168mm which is consistant with evosport..Is it possible to tell if the car even has a tune at all?

Thanks

Renntech and kleemann both make 168 pulleys as well. VRP, renntech, and some other manufactures also make bolt on headers....

K3 05 E55 sold, 09 GL550
if you had Evosport pulley Im sure you have Evo tune because most of us we call package K1 . Take your car to dyno shop and see what number you got and let us know or dealer may flash it back to stock before sold to you .

Ya, I was thinking of taking it to a shop to get it on the dyno anyway. Any suggestions in the Maryland DC Metro area?

a Rivera...via a Custom 24, Strat and Les Paul
Check the MIR thread - there's a shop in Beltsville, MD that's doing 3 Dyno runs for 55.00 the night before the MIR event thanks to Blackbenzz!!!! Also, maybe a good event to attend and get a lot of knowledgeable owners first hand opinions.

If everything hardware wise is Evosport, then you most likely have a Powerchips ECU tune as they use PC for all their ECU tunes. Are you located in CA?

Go do a few dyno runs, with a full pull A/F reading as well. This could probably help.
