+1 18 and maybe you could get a W210. A clean car with those options would pull no less then $21000. $18000 sounds about right with a salvage title!

Hell, with the dollar right now $28000 CAD is $26,500 USD....

This one's pretty similar for at least $1500 less than he's asking....

+1 But as this ad shows, a nice clean good mileage 03 is still gonna bring @$25000. You will never find an W211 E55 that is worth a shiat for $18000. Don't let the jaded people on here taint you head. Find a good clean one with good history and pay the xtra cash or you will be sorry during your first service visit!

I love it E...They are honestly almost completely different to drive. The 6.2 is a beautiful thing when you wind it out. It obviously doesn't grunt right off the line as hard, but it'll pull a stock 55 on the top end. I've never run it at the strip with a stock 55, but everyone says it can nip them in the quarter. It handles a lot better than the 2 E55's I've driven (04 and 06), and having 7 gears and paddles is never a bad thing. I've got 36K on mine and it's been rock solid. The only thing I can say, is if you can hold out or pinch a couple more bucks, the Comand system on the 09's is SSOOO much better than the 07-08's...If you've ever got a specific question feel free to PM me, but man I love this thing...and totally ha

Back to the topic, should I pull the trigger on this one if he's willing to sell it for 25k? I will have the car checked out before purchasing and the guy can provide all the service record from MB dealer .

Its a clean CarFax. Give me your email and I will shoot you a copy. It was owned in Toronto until 06 and then Langley, BC from then till current. Looks like a 2 owner maybe. But shows no accidents, flood, fire or theft.

Emoving- the days of using manheim prices to compare car prices are DONE imo, the internet in general undersells Manheim auctions very often now. I was a dealer for over 6 years and have noticed the difference. One can EASILY find that car for 18k. I paid 23k for my '05 almost 2 years ago w/49k miles. I have had 3 friends and one family member that has purchased e55's and cl55's for JUST AS LOW w/out looking around much. Don't mislead this guy into buying a car that isn't worth the price.

2005 E55 Sedan (Peuter)
Hey, for what it’s worth I did some analysis on this a couple months back that you may get some use out of. I economically modeled values of E55s using asking price as a proxy for selling price. I queried all 2003+ E55s for sale within a 500 mile radius of St. Louis. Taking into consideration ONLY make, model, year, miles and color and completely ignoring condition and options, I would estimate they should be asking $22,400 to be right at market average (as of a few months ago).
Pluses/Advantages: Kelley Blue Book is too rigid to be a dependable source of information in times of rapid economic expansion/contraction. Within the last 12+ months the market for used cars has sharply contracted and KBB values are inflated relative to the market.
Limitations/Risks:
1) That ignores some very important considerations such condition and option
2) Geographic influences could distort this estimate.
3) Uses old data. Market conditions could have changed by now.
FYI, using this approach I bought car that was modeled to be the second best deal on an E55. The best deal sold within a day to a guy who drove to Chicago from Maryland to pick it up without seeing any pictures! :-O
Let me know if you want me to refresh this. Maybe I’ll do it tonight if I’m bored and the wife is dominating the tube with f-ing “the Best Dress” or “Yes Dress” or whatever the hell that worthless show is.
