re:03 E55 blk/blk question !!

Need some opinion on this.

What's the fair price for 03 e55 with 75k miles /keyless go worth ? It does need service now and need to change one of the rear tail light/some scratch on rear bumper .

Anything i need to take look at it ? He's kind desparate to sell it due to job loss

18k is in the ballpark, with a clean history, and PPI is a must. What service is due?

Agreed on $18k and yes a PPI would be a must in this situation. You could be getting into the game for relatively cheap, but playing the game could be damn expensive dependant on what maintenance issues crop up!

+1 18 and maybe you could get a W210. A clean car with those options would pull no less then $21000. $18000 sounds about right with a salvage title!

Ahhh come on Marlon, you just paid almost 10gs more then that for a 03 with 50k! Don't kill your value already!

8K more, with only 42K, nice mods, super clean and a CPO warranty . My ballpark price was based on the seller's situation and the stated "car needs service," by the OP.

Car Whore
...and the cost of the new tail light, and the cost to repair/replace the bumper, and the decrease in value due to paint work on said bumper...

You deffinetly got a sweet deal, but $18,000 for a car that may only need a $150 oil service aint gonna happen unless maybe the guy is in desperate need of cash. I just hate for a guy to think he could really get a nice W211 E55 for that cheap and then be sorely dissapointed. Hell, he could take it to auction and pull at min. $20,000. As you can see from the MMR one with 77k just sold this month for $22900 now add auction fee $450 and your at $23500.

You can get a tail light on Ebay for less then $100. Unless it is collission damage bumper repair is no more then $500. I bet 80% of used cars have bumpers that have been refinished whether you like that or not.

They range from 35K (WTF) down to 19.5K on Autotrader...Depends on the "maintenance" needed. I'd definitely take it to an Indie Benz shop for a look over since the dealerships won't really do that for you...

03 E55 with OK condition should be around $20K
If someone try to sell low as $18K the car might not be as clean.
I would go find a better condition for $2k more than having trouble later on.

Thx for the input ,

I forgot to mention there's a 2200 accident on rear bumper but nothing serious.

Does $24000 sounds about right at this condition?

Btw , I'm in Canada if that makes any difference in terms of price

Service E is usually between $350-500 American...It's nothing major, unless they find something...

Then again every dealership calls each service something different...Park Place just has A & B and you alternate and they let you know when you need something else done...

Hes right, the service E is BS. Its just an oil change and possibly tranny or brake flush. Should be able to get it done under $500. $18000 is stealing the car and I dont think that is gonna happen unless he is just very stupid. If you get it for $18000 let's send it to auction and make 2 or 3 grand!

Hell, with the dollar right now $28000 CAD is $26,500 USD....

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

This one's pretty similar for at least $1500 less than he's asking....

So that means if I can get it for 25k canadian shoud be reasonable price. Canada doesn't have many e55 selling locally around the province
