Today I had a long conversation with a seller out of San Diego. He has EVERY AMG OEM wheel you can think of in every size/combo available. The wheels are selling for less then $900 and they have the AMG logo on them. I asked him if they have the serial numbers on the back of the wheel and he said that they do, they are OEM AMG. He went on to say how he sells to Mercedes. I asked him how he was able to put the AMG logo on the wheels with out getting in trouble and he said that he did so because he was not mis-representing, they are real AMG wheels.
Now back to reality, first off, if I walked into a local MBZ dealer and asked for OEM wheels they would cost $3500+. My question to you guys is this, HOW ON EARTH IS THIS GUY GETTING AWAY WITH THIS CR-P??
I'm angry because he tried to sell me on the fact that his wheels were OEM when it is IMPOSSIBLE that he has real authentic AMG for under $900!! He sounded like a fu-ktard a--hole sleazy salesman. Is there someone I can report this POS to? It angers me that he's probably fooled hundreds of people who dont know whats up, or mabe its a clear case of "IGNORANCE IS BLISS".

1. They are replicas and he's trying to play you for a fool.
2. They are stolen.
3. They are refinished OEM wheels

Here is a sponsor here selling wheels with the AMG letters and logo on them.(look at the 3rd wheels down) I am pretty sure people know for the price they are not authentic wheels. But then again the sponser here sells them for $649 for all 4. In the long run who cares, they are wheels not engines! That's a hell of a deal from the sponsor here!

I'm down for replicas. Like you said, they're wheels not engines. I was fuming earlier because the way this guy came across. Look, if the wheels are fake, not OEM from Mercedes then say so! Dont give me some fairy tale story about how you sell wheels TO Mercedes and how your wheels are OEM. Like my good friend Roy said, "The fact you spend most of your life in the missionary position, does NOT make you a Missionary".

Yeah, I've seen these on eBay as well, thinking it was too good to be true. If you look closely at the AMG logo, it does not match the real AMG logo, the little vertical bars are different sizes. They definitely are crap knock-offs; I wouldn't want to be doing a high speed run with these POS on my car. I'd be concerned that they would crack or self-destruct at an inopportune time. Anyone remember the self-destructing Sevas wheels?

Rep wheels almost always weigh more too. If you've never noticed most OEM AMG wheels are pretty damn light already, at least my E63's were. But then again, unless you're modding and racing 5 unsprung lbs. isn't gonna be very noticeable...

i got 2 new OEM AMG wheels ( 18*9.5 ) for $1350 from dealer with 50% discount.

so the 4 will cost $2700 with 50% discount.

so if u will by them without discount the 4 sets will cost about $5400.

I might have a set of 18 inch AMG twin spoke wheel with some tires for sale. These are real AMG wheels. They are just sitting in the shop collecting dust. Last i heard we would move them for 1k. I dont have any pics as of yet. I can look into it if you want.
