early christmas present for you Ahmad. Congrats on the new record/Personal best..i'm sure this record won't last long. Break it or break something (axle).

Congrats Ahmad! I think you scarred the car into running faster by saying you were gonna buy something else if it didnt break 10.7 LOL ![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
I will most definitely be at the rental on sunday!

Haha you always make me laugh Marco! Thanks!!!
I'm in no position to tell a 10-second driver how to mod his car
. But... looking at dragtimes most CLK55s are picking up around 23mph in the last 1/8-mile. Best news there is your car has more it can squeeze out. Let the tuner work their magic. If I were to start pulling at straws though, I would install an electric exhaust cutout and open it up after the 1/8 mile marker or just data log and see if she's running too rich in the higher gears.

Haha, yea man. I set high standards for it.

God damn, I can't wait to get out there this Sunday with you, bro. If nothing else, I'll try out R/T you! ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
So what's different with your ricer hooptie today, that wasn't there with us a couple of weeks ago? Just D/A?
Can't help but to feel totally happy for you.

Congrats Ahmad! Great run! Your 1/8 mile time beats mine by .04 at 6.84 vs my 6.88. I may come to the track Sunday and watch you guys in the suite. Nice 60'!

I agree with Jay and the rest, this could not have gone to a person more deserving.
Congrats on your record run, and thank you for all your technical assistance.

Haha, I don't know about being the man but thank you!
Thank you ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
That is definitely an option I'm considering. Or just spraying a 50 shot in 3rd gear to take the record lol. Dunno why my back 1/8th is so slow
If I can fix that I can lay down a pretty good ET. Maybe I just need to raise the rev limiter because the car is still making hp at redline and I'm only at stock redline, which for my car is only about 6100 I think ![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
Thanks! I can't wait to see your car when it's all done! (Our cars are never REALLY done but you know what I mean lol)
I iz scurred. I don't think anyone has pushed this platform (Older 55 motor) and posted what the limits are! I would prefer not to be the one to find out when the engine goes kaboom. I must admit, MB built a stout motor.
Thanks, there is a vid. It is the only reason I ran the third time! SO I could get it on vid for you guys. I haven't seen the footage but it should be up soon. And I will post it here or start a new thread so people don't have to search through this thread to find it.
Oh it's guaranteed you will out R/T me. I sit at the light til I get the rpms right where I want them and then go. My R/T's are like 2+ seconds at rentals
I dont mind doing friendly runs, it's all good. I don't mind losing, it's part of racing! There is ALWAYS someone faster
I found a large air leak post MAF sensor. In other words I was getting unmetered hot engine bay air. With the MAF being off it also efected the shifting (remember the bouncing off the limiter on the 2-3? It didn't do that anymore). The other thing is that I got the tires dialed in now. I seriously think I will cut a 1.4x 60' if the axles don't break. I still have about 800rpm left on the stall. Oh yea and the DA was awesome lol. Don't know why my back 1/8th slowed down though. The ZR1s were trappin 132-133
so I know its my car and not the timers
Thanks
Thanks
Thank you
Stephen!!! I was talkin about you at the track. I was telling people how they should see the sleeper king! Oh wow, I never even noticed that. May come? You better come, haven't seen you in a long time!
Haha thanks, I dont know what the footage looks like but it definitely snapped my head back and then snapped it back again on the 1-2 shift!
Thanks Magnus!!! Hope your Kleemann beast is running well
Thanks. No it's not a stock converter. I'd rather not mention what converter I have because I was not happy with their customer service (not a sponsor on this board, I got it done before any MB tuner offered it). The stall is about 2700 or 2800rpm. We will find out for sure sunday lol
Thanks Alex. Let me know how that stuff goes. And as always, I would be happy to help with any questions that you may have.
Thanks!!!
