Sorry to dig up an old thread, but hopefully it is a subject that will have something to do with me sooner than later.
I recently purchased an '07 E63, and after my 2nd time at the track I was down to (or up to depending on how you look at it) 12.34@114.34 MPH, on the stock-sized Potenza R050A's it came with. Bone stock. 60ft. of 1.892.
Im in Central VA @ Va Motorsports Park (Petersburg, VA), where I assume altitude is close to sea-level, and it was about 70 degrees and 75% humidity. I don't know what the DA would be in that case, track doesn't report that on the slips.
I'm thinking with a slight improvement in launches and even cooler/drier weather I can flirt hard with 11s, maybe even 118+ who knows. You guys think so?
If I put on some Nitto 555s or other streetable DRs would that exclude me about being a "stock" E63? any thoughts on that?

Don't get to caught up with these 118+ trap speeds. I'm not trying to take anything away from anyone's accomplishments, but I run at Sac Raceway and have for years and back then the trap speeds were high by several MPH. Focus on your ET's. I'm assuming you're talking about the 555R's, because the 555's are regular tires. If you do decide to run DR's be prepared for them to not last long on the street.
