Can you do a favor and measure the distance to the top of your front wheel arch in the 4X4 mode.
Here is mine all jacked up, stock 18" wheel & tire, measures 27"

I was told that lowering via STAR tool works but for a short period of time before the car reverts back to stock specs. I don't know what a "short period" means but this person works at FunKtion Auto which works on high end cars and they have a star tool.
