Hey guys, just wanted to say hello and tell you what a great forum you have here. I am coming from a Jeep SRT8 and working out the details on an 06 E55 with 28k on the clock. To be honest I haven't even driven one yet, but I am confident I will love the car. I really liked the brute power of my SRT8 but missed the luxury on the interior. What better car to replace that than the E55.Anyhow, I look forward to being a part of your forum and learning all I can from you. Don't worry, I'll post pics as soon as I get my new toy(delivery probably won't happen until mid January).

Welcome. I had a modded Jeep SRT8 a few years back. The brute power coupled with the AWD grip was awesome from a dig, but the interior sucked. I have seen nicer materials used on trash cans. You will definitely love the e55, best of both worlds!

 

Welcome! Same here. Came from a Cherokee SRT8. That car literally fell apart in 2 years... The benz is a major improvement even being used and 5 years old. A trade off I would do a million times over

Thanks guys. Nice to see some ex-Cherokee guys. Makes me feel good about the decision. I am absolutely done with American brands and their interiors.
