Those prices look right for an auction considering most small independent dealers will buy them up and mark them up well over 20%. I've bought 3 cars at a dealers-only auction site in Wisconsin many years ago and can say you always get a good deal as long as you know what problems to look for. The best free corn-on-the-cob I ever had was at the auction, which made up for the lack of free floor mats and auto detailing.

95% of the cars dealers have are auction cars which are 75% lease returns, or cars that dealers can't sell and try to liquid at Auction at a loss to them. Then there are the repo-d cars.

Are you a sponsoring vendor of this board or are you just trying to drum up business? Also those numbers dont include Manheim fees, PSI, reconditioning or transportation.

Yes, these cars are all sold, so if you see cars like these on Ebay with same miles & color, it's probably the same and you can cross match price and see what the profit margin is.

+1....there are alot more fees then just the auction fee like.....transport..tires...brakes ect.

You have absolutely no clue what you're talking about. Auction fee not $100 the auction fee is based on the sale price of the car and if the car sells on a high line day like most Mercedes Benz cars its $100 more. You left out the transport fees, reconditioning, tires, paint,brakes, nav disks, mats, windshields,..ect that are often part of the reconditioning process. You really should stop posting misinformation.

No matter what the auction fees are its good to know what the cars are trading for and the mileage they have.


If nothing else its a baseline for what dealers pick 'em up for....which is alot less than they try to sell them for......
