I'm going back this Saturday. Looks like the Builder Bill valve body is probably bad. Will be swapping my stock valve body in and adding blue top solenoids before I hit the track. Otherwise I have a $4000 tranny bill coming up soon :-<

Yeah, that sucks but at least you didn't have to tow your car home. I tried Bill's valve body mod on my transmission and on my very first pass my tranny went bye bye. I knew this was a risk after some have warned me but I decided to try anyways....lesson learned. I must add that Bill is a standup guy and he covered me in every way to make it right . Even after the unfortunate outcome I give Bill a thumbsup for honoring his word.

I have came to a conclusion, leave the tranny alone...the gains are not worth the risk. I wouldn't even consider the speedshift anymore due to problems a couple of my friends had with it. A lot people didn't think it was possible to get in the 1.5's with stock converter and tranny, but we did.

Josh, Hahaha....I was uploading the videos to my computer and my wife just happened to be looking over my shoulder as you were doing one of your short burnouts. She said "oooopppps...hahaha, what's wrong with his car" LOL. Of course she was just being playful but it was indeed funny.

Yeah me and Kou had a battle royale the last 4 passes. and yeah the burnouts were not so good.

He ran a 12.43@122.06 to my 12.059@120.261

Kou, I have your 21 second slip!! The trap speed is amazing 48.505 mph, not bad.

Your 60ft time with esp off was 2.1 on your 21 second pass you must have lost traction right out of the box.

I believe that run was my worst 60ft and my worst , short burnout..

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

Awesome was also when you ran my car to an 1/8 mile of 95.105 mph on your first try, something I've yet to do in over a dozen attempts. 30.1 mph in the back 1/8th was also quite a rush. Considering a CTS-V was running 13's all day last week in the same conditions, I didn't feel bad about Sunday.

Budoboy, I hope you don't have a $4000 repair job coming. I won't make it this weekend but good luck out there and hope you get into the 10's. I have a video of your first run shot from the staging area but it's very blurry. The camera decided to focus on your burnout plume instead of the car. Note to self: bring the better camera next time.

Josh... I was simply trying to use up my 94 octane mix . We'll race for real when the conditions favor me! Just kidding, your car was consistent all day long and I got my **** wooped.

Once you get drag radials it will be a whole different ball game. Running street tires at Sac on a cold high humidity day = bad 60' = bad ET's....overall bad .

That was so close. I went a 12.002 before finally breaking 11's. My best advice it to take an exlax the day before and don't eat breakfast.

man I told you about eating that track food it slows you down. the tradition is that you wait until racing is over then you go to subway
btw I will tell you just like Big E told me, "Wax your car next time"

Are you ready to borrow the skinny's and light weight battery? Give me the word and it's yours!

I offered Josh subways but he refused my hospitality and just left........jk. Hopefully Josh could make it up one more time to get his 11's.

I will let you know, I'm getting my oils changed on Thursday and I'm checking the weather all week. I want to avoid another 90% relative humidity day!

No doubt! I'm also going to take that into consideration the next time out. I have decided to be a lot more selective about running my car. I have learned a ton this past year running in different weather conditions, from 4500 down to -400 with both clear skies and high humidity days. Hopefully we'll get a -500 day with blue skies.
