Slightly off topic: custom wrap in the Bay Area?

Hey all,

Noting that many of us have the front of our cars wrapped with clear plastic protection to prevent rock chips, I got to wondering what else they can wrap and protect...

Specifically, does anyone know of a custom shop near S.F. that might be able to wrap a Vespa? That would relieve my paranoia of accidentally dropping the 300lb. scooter at low speed or when stopped at an angle on a hill. I don't expect protection from a full speed wipe-out, just little scratches and paint chips from low speed accidental drops. She's a beautiful GTV 250, brand new, and I want to keep from getting that first scratch.

Anyone have a tip for me?

Thanks!

The guy who did all my cars started the clear bra in the bay area over 10 years ago and the best part he is mobile. He is well known in the P car forum and was even flown out to wrap an entire custom P car in Dubai. He's pretty thorough, cheaper then body shops and applies more film. I have my trunk lip and all door ledges wrapped for free when he did the front half of the car. I will not lie he brought on a partner because he was getting burnt out of doing it. I'd suggest giving him a try first, not his partner and see if he bites. Let me know if you want his number and website.

So to answer your question you can wrap the whole car. I can't say what he will do extra for you since you are a first time customer but he's very reasonable.

So he could wrap an entire vespa? I ask because there aren't as many made and they may not have the templates for them...

How do I contact them? Are they located far from Berkeley?

Thanks!
