Guys, is that true you get +2MPG with Renntech ECU tune with Pulley upgrade ? Anybody has Renntech ECUS tune can confirm this ?
I always thought the more HP = -MPG

Factory ECUs are usually richer to prevent detonation especially on FI vehicles. So most of the time you can gain some hp by leaning out the mixture and playing with the timing across the band.

+1

I have Renntech stage 1 but can't say I've ever really kept an eye on my gas mileage. I'd probably be depressed if I kept track of it.

There are mods you can do that "may" help some with MPG as well, but lets face it 2mpg on your car would be higher than a 10% increase. Running the RennTech 82mm TB with their tune and pulley would definitely have the ability to get better mpg, but I'd have a hard time finding out since I'd be more into punching it to feel the extra power!!

Retail on the RennTech stage 1 is $4k, but the components and tunes are now changing some so don't buy based on $$. There are additional optins available now so make sure you get what you want. RT's new stuff is nice.
