it could be your Aux draining your main battery.
I had this happend to me last month.
The main battery should last 3 ro 4 years as long as there is no drain when the key if off.

The factory battery lasted 3 years for me and then had a "heart attack" at a most inopportune time. I discovered that the battery water in several cells was nearly dry. Don't count on the dealer to check that when you go for maintenance. I replaced the original battery 7 1/2 years ago and have since added my own distilled water periodically. Also if you lay the car up for any length of time as I do in the winter put it on a trickle charger. That's easy to do because jumper connections are under the hood-no need to yank out the back seat.

13.5 to 13.8 volts is fine as long as your charging system is OK if not it will probably die. Would be hard to believe that in fact it is the alternator, being that your car is only 08'...i guess it is battery/alternator season. Good luck! malakasnyc;3902429]Anyone know what the life is on a MB battery from factory ??????? Car is dead in driveway . Jumped it but shut it off after 5 minutes and still no charge .

Normally 4 to 5 years (under average use) is a good life span. However, the battery in my CL did last 7.5 years, something that non of the MBs I've experienced have done before.
If your battery is dying that fast, you may have a leak in electronics.... the dealer should be able to chase it down.
