that cts-v looked strong thats my next car looking for one now .. tune, pulley , headers runs under 3k and car is fast as heck .. but e55amggg i just got smoked by 4 door bentley .... off the line lol that car took off without chirping a tire by the time i caught up it was over we turned opposite ways lol

wow that cts walked away. def modded. there is a white one that comes to Atco and he is one fo the quickest pulley/tune ones around from what he said. he ran 11.3-11.4 with just pulley, tune and drag radials

lol man i'm telling u that car launched hard and fast its all wheel drive v12 twin turbo .. i talked to him yesterday when i saw him again he has it tuned and i bet that car pulls insane 60ft times .. were gonna do a rolling start later today and see what happens now lol gotta get my **** some racing fuel .. but on the hunt now for white on white cts-v . u know who wants me to get new car with WARRANTY ........... told her what the cost is to mod it she couldnt believe it, even she said wow thats cheap

Hahaha love it! I just hope they post up the video of their highly modded C63 against this bone stock CTS-V. It's funny how they think the car has nitrous, headers, etc etc. If it did, it would have walked them by 30 buslengths lol.

car and driver video : as they mentioned they ve used mannual pre-production car and also they mentioned in the magazine auto cts-v is faster as they couldnt find any auto cts-v during the day of this test

sorry watch the video again the car was auto and he ran them both in manual mode.. listen to what he says .. he says the e63 shifts more crisp and if u shift the cts-v at the right time its dead on ..

Well yes stock CTS-V's are fast, but this one was sure not stock, i havbe been in alot of fast cars and ran with E55AMGGG04 aganist ALOT of modded and fast cars, so unless a stock CTS-V is pulling over 125mph traps stock, then okay. BUT THIS CTS-V was not stock. so lets just end that there.

Trying to load up the c63 video vs the CTS-V but i only got the first run of where the C63 got the jump and you cant see much of anything. I wasnt in the C63 for that race, as we got split up in the middle of no where, just trees and deers and no lights and jussttt hundred of miles of highway, the guy didnt know how to work the camera and it ran out of memory. for the other run, but it wasnt as bad as the E55 race, the C stuck in there.

If one of the earlier posters in this thread is right and it's ItalianStallion from this board (I've seen him post on other forums about his car), he refers to it having ~700bhp and I saw a post where he said it's run 10's in the 1/4, although he didn't mention an exact number.

My very lightly modded auto equipped CTS-V (Pulley, Tune, Cold Air) makes probably 610-620 at the crankshaft (520 rwhp on a Dynojet), To get to 700bhp he'd probably only need to add a decent cam and a full exhaust (maybe ported heads). I've gone 11.5 and trapped 122+ in the quarter on the factory radials with my minor mods, so his 10 second claim is certainly believable, especially on a tire.

Like you said, I can't see a CTS-V pulling on an E55 like that up top unless he's seeing close to 125mph trap speeds or better.

It was a fun time, Both the CTS-V owner and the E63 owner were cool guys, def gonna hang out with them again! We had a ball. CTS-V was last run of the nite and it was a bang.
