ATCO isn't in the middle though lol. 3hrs from DC and 2hrs from NYC without traffic. Went there twice last year and it was $200/car. I might go again this year though

Why is it double the cost of a MIR rental?

Simple answer? Because people pay it. MIR is a nicer track IMHO anyway. MIR is actually $200/car during the offseason but I got the hook up

MIR is way too far man. Its 400+ miles away from me. Atco I would be in for sure but that place is way too far.

..... and 11.5 a week later when I figured how to launch it better (no cameraman that day for my camcorder):

A local bone stock "V" I know has touched 11's and guys with simple mods like mine (including Italian Stallion's) are capable of mid 11's, lower 11's with a decent tire out back at a good track.

Just sayin.

So a V is smaller and lighter and has "77" more horsepower, and a "stage one" e55 and a "stage one" V are running very comparable times... From the reading i have gathered that its a drivers race. I mean you take a stock E vs a stage one, it's not comparable, kind of like a stage one V vs a stock e55. I don't see what the big deal is here......Just a numbers game

He's got cams, headers, intake, pulley, exhaust, and I think a 100 shot. From what I remember, off the bottle he ran 10.8. Automatic tranny, daily driver. I'm sure as time passes more and more V's will be in the 10's. Maybe mine, if I dedicate the time and moola.
i have no doubt that an e55 with those same mods could match those numbers as long as track conditions cooperated. i wish i was willing to run n2o so i could prove my theory.

No it was a legit video. It was my friends Supra, I've actually driven it quite a bit. It has spray but that was all boost. That video wasn't altered you can tell by the audio. It ran 9.6 or 9.4, I can't remember since it's been so long ago. It ran that time even after putting a 6 speed manual back in instead of the T-400 3 speed that he had in it in that video. You can hear the huge stall converter for the 3 speed. You get faster times with the T-400 but put bigger numbers down on the dyno with the 6.... bragging rights. It just sounds better when you can say, it's a 1000whp

Well what did the car run off nitrous? 10.8 right? E55's have already gone quicker

I have a similar modded E55 with all bolt-ons, less the 200 shot of nitrous, no cams and over 13 passes in the 10's with the best at 10.776. My best 60' time so far is a 1.585 with hoosier drag radial. With that said, I would say it would be a drivers race with 2 similar modded cars.

Haha....when all else fails change the subject from a straight line to the twisties. Guess what, no twisties in a 1/4 mil run.
