When driving at 62 mph on the highway with cruise control enabled in 5th gear mine gets something like 18-19 (fresh reset). City driving is more like 10. Normal or should I check whether something needs to be mended?

PS! I drive it like its meant to be driven. That said, Iīm not exactly madding it in town to get this 10. Kind of annoying.

in an attempt to revive an old thread............i drive moderately in the city. I use the torque on lights but never really over 4k rpms, and I get about 11mpg? Is that on par guys? And "over 20mpg" I'm seeing is straight lucadris.....kudos to whoever pulled that off. I drove highway for 100mi and the best number I got was 17.5....

My 45 mile (each way) daily mixed traffic commute gets me around 16.5 mpg

About split 50/50 with interstate and devided highway with lots of traffic lights, but it is the Tampa Bay area so 85% traffic

Also running 245s front and 275s rear on 19s so that extra drag doesn't help either.

I noticed the other day that once I switched air filters, my efficiency went from 17ish mpg highway with K&N's to 19.8mpg on MB. I have a feeling that number will get higher once I drive it again.

^ On that note, if a vacuum hose has fallen off and you don't know about it, it costs you ~ 80 hp and drops your mpg from 15-20 to 12-17...
