Fog Light HID problems
I installed some 8000K HID fog lights I got from online. Nothing special or different then the other 6 sets I've installd. Plug and play.
They turn on fine but sometimes I get a fog light out error but if I turn them on immediately after the low beams then that doesn't happen.
THE PROBLEM: Recently I've been getting that "convinence features have been disabled" basically something with the charging system. I only get it with the HID fogs on. I can run everything besides that and its fine. Then it takes a bit for it to pull the error.
I was getting this before the fog install so I swapped the regulator in the alternator and don't get the error except with the HID fogs on.
What do I look at to fix this? Relay between the HID's and the car? Main battery not fully charged, alternator, ballast for the HID's? i need some advice here.
