WoW good to know about Hyndai... my brother in law wanted to buy one because of 10 years/100k miles powertrend warranty. I guess Toyota and Honda are still one of the most reliable car.

AMG didnt move away from the supercharger just because of reliability, the 63 was the first ground up amg motor and it was NA. It made more power than the 55supers so they didnt need the supercharger to attain the performance goal. Guess what, the next generation of motors will be FI again, just this time it is turbos. You are alo talking about cars that sticker out at close to 90k plus when new and in 3-4yrs are down in the 30's which most anyone with a decent salary can afford.
Dont complain about build quality and other issues unless you pony up the dollars and buy 1. If you do and it is a POS then you can complain.
The only fail here is you.

I would take a Nissan over any of them. Before the Hyundai we had a 2009 Nissan Maurano. The Nissans have been the only good Jap cars our family has owned. We like Subaru also but have not yet got to them.

I would suggest it is you that needs to grow up. I personally grew up on a farm. I have worked for everything I have and proud of what I have aquired. My father never graduated high school but all his kids made their way thru college. I started my first job making more than my father ever made in his life, and when he found out what I was making he was even more proud.
I have a large family as most were in the era I grew up. Kids where the work force of the farm, and we learned to do everything.
Dont bring that rich snobbish crap into this forum, most of us work for a living and dont try to make excuses for our wants overloading our pocketbook.

They are as expensive as E55 when need to get fix, you better prepare some $$$ for repair !

I cant believe someone who was looking for e55 then start to insult Mercedes from 2000-2007 built quality.... Our cars are not perfect because there is no perfect bullet-prove car.

If you think that the "merger" of Daimler and Chrysler had much of anything flowing FROM Chrysler TO Daimler - you are sorely mistaken. There were not changes to MB manufacturing as a result of the "merger".
My 2006 has been back to the dealer for some minor stuff - but it's a really nice car and I intend to keep it for a while. I bought the MB extended warranty- but mostly as an insurance policy. The car is well built and solid and I would recommend owning one.
But - it's your money - buy what you want.
