Oh my..... 06 M5 40k miles at $35K

This is only 3 miles from my house !!! They usually buy cars from auctions,
When I bought my E55 they had 2 E55 at very low price but I didnt like the car condition. I am a freak about my own car, I cant stand the scrach, smell...etc... But damn, M5 price is droping Fast now !!!
6 months ago, still $40K +

Great find Charlye500 did you run the carfax on this? That car would easily sell for $40K back here in DC.

This car dealer has the Carfax repport for all their car before they buy them. I gues you just have to recondition the car and buy an ext. warranty. For 40K miles M5 is LOW mileage and LOW price. California car usually has better price and good weather condition car.

The Best There Is E60 ///M5
And you guys don't believe me. I know more about the value of cars than this Emoving dude who does this for living. I just use friend's and family's information. Point made, stay off if you want to buy cars. Prices will even drop more by end of March beg April. M5's will be in sub 30s, 911 will be at 35K and M6 will be at 38K in two months.

m3-addict being in the washington dc area like myself do you think that the cars here are getting sold for higher than other places in the country. I have not seemn a deal like that on an m5 anywhere around here.

$31,250
You WON'T get a 06 M5 with less than 50,000 miles in average condition for anything less than $33k after auction and transport fees.

LOL, this is something new. Previously everybody been saying that cars in Cali are more expensive and that is why people are traveling to another states to purchase them and then transport back to Cali. Pennsylvania auctions had the best deals for past couple of years

Ok chimp explain this, here is a list of M5s that sold on the west coast. This is before the $450 auction fee and the $1200 shipping fee to get it to the East coast. So the average is $35000 plus fees, detail and shipping bringing the wholsale price to @$37000.
So tell us wonder monkey, how are you gonna make money like you act like you do by putting them on Craiglist for $33000? We are all waiting for your business plan!

Everyone has their price point they are comfortable with. Each car also has a set price, so paying above is getting jibbed and paying below you are getting a deal. This is the run down of the prices as of now. All cars are set to have miles at 50-60K.

2006 - Pay no more than 31K
2005 - Pay no more than 28K
2004 - Pay no more than 24K
2003 - Pay no more than 20K

Now given the different options, 1000 higher or lower depending on color and options. For me, I'm looking for a white one and will be paying a premium due to color. So my situation is different, I'm just waiting on a clean 05 White one to hit the market. But if color is not your issue, check out the price guide above.

OK, I have access to the Manheim numbers as well and I'll stand by my statement.

Everyday I wait, is everyday another $50 is off these cars. Besides, no clean E55 AMG has even hit the market for a month now.

M3 Addict,

Having the AMG in your garage all winter is a great garage decoration. I am doing it for the first time this winter and its great to walk into my garage knowing the lion is hibernating for the winter just roaring to pop out in the spring...Its definately worth it...if you are buying an AMG whats a few extra dollars...

Hes a piece of work isnt he! The guy cant afford an E55 unless it has 10 years of warranty and selling for $21000 but he is quoting prices on all cars now! Typical 19 year old tard! The best is rrich is taking advice form him!

Where can one go to see what these cars are selling for at auction emoving? I might assume that you have to be a licensed dealer to have access to that information?

Is it safe to assume that the majority of the car you see online that are selling for less than the auction prices you have listed have salvage history or some sort of issues?

M3 Addict...its common sense the longer you wait the more prices will drop...are you still waiting to buy your first LCD or Plasma because you are waiting for the prices to drop another $5 / month? Emoving seems to know a lot more about this stuff than you do...maybe we should call you Captain Obvious?

Heres the problem, you cant see auctions price unless your a dealer or have a connection as I do and as M3Addict apparently does. The problem is, when someone like him that starts spewing numbers and he has no clue what he is talking about, ruins it for a guy like you that listens to his worthless crap.
There was a good thread here about a guy like M3 that bought an E63 form auction and had no clue what he was doing like M3. He get the car shipped to him and someone stold the AMG brakes and they were replaced with E320 brakes. Haaaaa! Look it up. It was titled something like Did i get screwed or something. The answer is no, he had no idea about Manheim, it was fully disclosed "after market brakes" so he is just screwed. The Manheim numbers dont tell you anything other then mileage, location, color and transmission. They tell you nothing about condition. Here is muy advice on buying a car from someone like him or another car unreasonably low in price......BUYER BEAWARE! get what you pay for. Tnot to say joe schmo just lost his job and is selling his car cheap, but even joe schmo will not give the car away!

Here is a perfect example of someone like M3 going to a Manheim auction! DONT LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU! He is completely clueless and way off base!

Happy reading!
