Flyby video of E55/CLS55 with Long tube headers

Question regarding long tube headers, even on FI cars:
Don't you risk losing quite a bit of torque down in the lower RPM range with long tubes? Granted, the gains in the midrange and up top are substantial, my only concern would be losing the grunt down low ...
Any thoughts on this ?

Hey. Thanks for the dyno Mike! My car put down 420rwhp bone stock and 480rwtq! I thought I had an IC problem but this proves it is working great! Very happy to know my beast is top notch and I guess when Mercedes flashed my chip with the latest software when I had the service done a couple of weeks ago it made it faster.
I heard the long tube headers in person on a cls55 and they sound unbelievable and loud, but quiet when not at wot. Plan on saving some money to get them done in the future, I cannot wait!

Just thought I better give a recap of my first dyno at dyno-comp.

Thanks man. It was good meeting you and maybe in the future when I get time you can show me how to do the track thing; I never ran before so that would be fun. Money for fixing will drain the funds, but at least you know you have one of the fastest cars on the road!

By the way, I talked to Uniqmotorsports here a few minutes ago and they quoted me an excellent price! $525 for the badges taken off and painted 040 black, the grill taken off and painted 040 black, the tail lights smoked leaving the clear on, and painting the 4 calipers red with reapplying black amg logo and clear coat. I think I am going to go there, but just want to make sure the quality of materials and work are up to par before scheduling.
