Go 185mm or go home!
Are the HP gains that significant between 180MM and 185MM and should I risk the heat soak? Again it can get to 115F - 118F during the summer months here and I drive quite a bit in traffic.
Appreciate any guidance here.
Thanks.

Just a bit of knowledge I've gained from other members.

I just purchased the mezerie pump for my system. I have bigger HE, split system with 60oz reservoir, t-stat and the CM30 is not cutting it.

Also just thought of this what about a lower thermostat for the E55 would that help?
Lastly how about the pulley, should I just stick with the 180mm upgrade and get a new tune once it's installed? Eurocharged will provide me a free tune if I buy the 180mm from them which together will net about 70+ HP and optimize everything.
Totally open to advice of course.
Thanks as always.

That is a great deal you are getting from Eurocharged. Go with that and keep upgrading your cooling.. T stat will help too.. There are no larger pulley`s available on the market than the 180mm.
The couple pulley`s larger than 180mm were custom made..

200mm does have a nice ring to it.
Last question where can I buy the PTE 160 Thermostat and -10C Star Mod?
Thanks, huge help here!

People are making way to many blanket statments over assumed heat gains and blower`s being maxed out.. The 185mm is still a very conservative blower overdrive ratio, in the scope of blower speed. The 185mm is only at a 2.05 to one ratio or 13120 RPM VS stock ratio of 1.72 to one or 11008 rpm.. These RPM`s are all at 6400 RPM on our engine. Peak rpm for just a peak second..
I know it is not the same blower or car but just for kicks,, Stock 2010 Shelby GT500 mustangs spin faster than my 185mm set up.. Their 2.60 nose snout upgrade pulley brings them to a 2.3 to one ratio or like 15,000 rpm @ 6400 rpm. They are all roots style but of course different blowers have different max rpm.. Some blowers on street cars are over driven to 18000 rpm and can loose up to 6psi above 4000 rpm.. Now that is no effecient or safe!
My 13K@6400rpm or 2.05 to one ratio does not bother me ...
So even a 205mm would still spin slower than a mustangs standard conservative upgrade. 205mm = 2.27 ratio and 14528rpm for a brief second at 6400 RPM.
The way I tell and am gauging my pulley effeciency (in general) ,, is by boost loss at 5000 rpm and up.. Of course , you also have to eliminate beltr slip and by pass dump but boost loss is the ticket for me..
Since very little to no info is shared on our boost, blower speed and pulley sizes, then the above info is what I am moving forward with for now..5 or 10mm here or there, is really not a big or wild jump .. It is just a %..small one , at that..
