How much boost are you guys making on the 185? I know different mods will effect boost level but it would be interesting to see different boost levels with different pulleys/mods. I am going to be documenting the difference in boost going to smaller sc pulley on my car (CLK55). Even though Im just using a mechanical boost gauge

Ali- can you log IAT? That thing looks big. How small is the water pump pulley for 200mm pulley? lol. Might be overspinning it at that point

His geographic elevation and free-flowing exhaust are the culprits. Someone at altitude and/or a hot climate will observe less boost on an X mm CP setup than what you'll see on a low-humidity, low-temp day at sea level. Not to mention the impact of mods, as you both correctly point out.

How much boost does a stock E55 make? I just put a mechanical boost gauge on my car and apparently my car only makes 7PSI Can't wait to get this smaller sc pulley on my car

Makes sense, I believe you. To capture a boost data point, are you datalogging (or watching the boost gauge) on the dyno or at the track? Not always easy (or safe) to get a proper "max boost" measurement on the street, as you really need to be WOT at the top of at least 3rd, if not 4th... IMO.
