The "New Guy"
Whats going on guys? My name's Brian, just took delivery of my 2006 E55 AMG today, 40k on the clock, Silver on Black, Pano roof, fully loaded. I've been lurking these forums for a while and im happier than ever with my new W211. I come from a BMW Background, as my last vehicle was a heavily modded E46 M3 Convertible. I'm happy to be joining the AMG family!!

congrats and welcome. I am also new to the AMG group. I was looking into blue tooth as well. do you have a handset already installed in the middle console. if so you just need a blue tooth puck and your on your way. if not then it will be alittle more work. this site may be helpful. http://www.wireless4mb.com/page8/page8.html

Thanks a lot guys!! Yeah i put a lotta work into my M3 to get her to where she was at her peak....theres always a time to upgrade though right!? I will look into that bluetooth puck..thanks

what up Brian, its Walter (Laguna01///M3). Congrats on the E55, you'll love it. I just sold mine and got a C63. welcome to the board. See its got the Vorsteiner trunk lip. If interested, i have my old Euroteck CF front lip in may garage im blowing out cheap. Let me know.

Your worst nightmare...
Very nice car and welcome!!. Did you happen to buy this car in Long Island? Sunrise Highway?. I believe I saw it sitting outside with the Vorsteiner Lip on it. My brother was interested but they were asking somewhere in the 40K range. Just curious.

Any hidden features?
I am sure by know you know to take her easy on the corners. She's pretty ugly in the twisties comparted to the mighty M.
You get used to fighting the ESP though and it gets better with time.
Otherwise, torque that causes seizures in young and old alike....ahhhhh ain't nothing like it.
Here's the first thing you should get familiar with. AMG constantly has the car adapting to your driving and if you are in traffic, she will setup the shift patterns pretty soft.
Do a sneaky ECU reset and she perks right back up. It's harmless. Just resets shift patterns.
