New ASP S/C idler tensioner pulley and kit.

The last of the fugly pulley`s on my car is gone now!! That S/C tensioner pulley was one ugly part and has the same low rpm bearings in it , as the S/C idler we all have fail..

I also had a new light weight water pump pulley made with a step in it to bring water pump speed back to stock rpm.. This pulley is 50% lighter than stock and maybe 100% lighter than some of the aftermarket models that come in some of the kits..

The lighter all your pulleys`s,, the less horspower wasted to try and turn thr weight. This also helps the engine rev quicker or get up to speed quicker.. Will I feel it, probabally not but every little bit helps..

ASP said they were going to run some of all of them and just make a light weight , high speed bearing dress up kit..

I just wanted nice custom stuff for my car , that was light and had good bearings.. Glad they running some extra parts and my extra work on it is helping others out..

ASP S/C idler next to ugly steel s/c idler.

Instal pic of S/C idler.. BTW, two minute job to change..

New light weight ASP water pump dress up pulley.. Still need a cap to cover ugly threads..

Looking good. I don't know if you were ever a Seinfeld fan but your CL should have the plate "ASP MAN".

any price info and contact info. how much and who do we call. looks nice , I sure would like light weight pretty pulleys. still deciding on which SC pulley to get. pretty happy with power now but simple pulley swap seems like a no brainer. is it true if you go 168 you dont need to change the lower pulley or belt. even simple. except the monster bolt to replace.

+1, I'm having a constant screeching noise now after I put on the new idler pulley.

ASP, I am hoping it is the plastic one behind the idler that I chipped bad. New one sitting at the house, if that doesn't fix it, then I guess i'll be following exotic again and dressing my engine up with more new pulleys

It is true -- and a tune is not mandatory -- but best results getting a new tune after any mod --

Just call ASP .. I do not know what parts they have in stock or plan to make or the pricing.. My one idler was 125.00 and I have to pay for the rest next week.. Just wanted some custom parts made and after donating my stock parts, they helped me out.. I shared what they did for my car on MBworld and it seemed many others needed the parts to save money.. I have had over 40 Pm`s about these parts and was suprised how many bad pulley`s are out there. Since they had the drawings made on my custom parts, I think they have and will run some more to take care of the customer calls.

Bottom line,, I have my parts and on to the next fun project for me! Be happy to help with any questions though..
