changing instrument cluster
Hey guys. I got my cls55/63 instrument cluster, but I am not sure where to proceed. Can anybody give me assistance to how to at least start it up and test it out or how to set it up in my 2004 e55. I know you have to switch the housing which should not be too hard, but from there is it just plug and play? Thanks.

I think you have to get it re-programmed to bring over the info from your car into the new cluster. MBenzNL put a CLS55 cluster in my car, and he had to reprogram it.

oh. He lives in Europe though, correct? I either am going to install it or sell it to someone who wants it and can figure out the install because I am confused.

It is actually a cls63 instrument cluster from a 2007-2008 so it has all the new features. I Pm'd you edoublenickel.
