19's for sure,
19 will run much better than 20's and they look just as good.
Trust me, I have been running alot of these e55's in Orlando and I have 18's and they definitely help to keep up with the more modded e55's around running on 19's and up.
If interested, I have a set of 19" Lorinsers LM5's chrome with tires for sale for $1050 plus shipping.
38offset on both front and rear, 8.5 and 9.5 widths.

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
They should fit....
and that's technically the correct specs. Don't kid yourself, yes, the 20's may be a bit more to "turn over", but the 19's simply don't have the visual impact that the 20's do. Get some proper (read: not cheap/crappy) tires, and have someone set them up properly, with an aligment, and it should be fine. BTW, let me know if you decide not to take them!
