First E55 W211 already delivered?
I was browsing the S2K forums and it looks like someone has alreayd had an E55 delivered in Texas of all places!

They don't look like the split spoke wheels we have seen on every other picture over the last several months. It may very well be an E55, but look back to the magazines including page 56 of the March 2003 Car and Driver.

wheels are from W211 E55
These wheels are available as no cost options to what I consider the more attractive standard dual spokes seen in the magazines.

Go to the E55 page and click under the word rader toward the bottom. You will then be able to click on a link to a picture of these optional wheels. I was told this will likely be available in the US but I still think this kid is FOS. $96,000 is kind of pricey too.

Hi Guys i'm a frequent browser of this forum... I don't own one but love to have one someday. just want to let yall know that i really did see a W211 E55 last nite, in Pasadena, CA.
It was parked on the side of the street, north bound on Lake ave, dark color (perhaps black) with the double-spoke wheels. The quad oval-shape tailpipes were so big, bright and sweeeet, you can't possibly miss them!!! wasn't able to slow down see if there's any plates in the back (whether it has dealer plate or new just delivered)
Sorry i didn't have my camera with me or else i would've for sure stopped in the middle of the road to snap couple pictures for you all. So for you lucky ones who have yours on order.... it's here already

That picture is a Euro Car. It does not have the required US front side marker in yellow/orange on the bumper. Like on this one:

I just thought that the first delivery would be in Florida/Cal/NY where their main markets are.
