Anybody ever try Okada Plasma Coils?

I have read about them before...pretty expensive but still curious. Claim to help forced induction engines significantly...thoughts??

I wouldn't pay 50 bucks for it, much less three grand. If the engine is not currently misfiring(due to lots of boost and high cylinder pressures), you will NOT gain power from any sort of ignition box. You will also not gain power from +2 or +4 plugs, nor will platinum or iridium increase power. Longevity and longer plug change intervals yes, but that's it.

I would pass....... our stock twin plug is well beyond what is needed, little room for improvement left.

cornfed gtr and m3
I run these coils in my M3, and they were night and day difference between the stock Bremis. The Okadas were worth every penny in this application because of the higher boost that my car runs. But I don't think they would make a difference in the 55k application, and would most likely just be a lot of money spent for no return.

100% in agreement with Charlie!

Aaron the coils will help in a much higher boost environment with a single plug set up but since it is a dual plug configuration in a M113k just send me the $$$$ towards your balance on consulting fees and figetaboutit!
