I'm back finally. Who knew suggesting a group buy on some parts would lead to a suspension and threatening of ban? I have seen hundreds of group buy post in the last three years and I get nailed? I just wanted to say the super moderator is gay and needs to get a damn life! Okay, I am done venting.

OrionS55. Your comment implies that this forum is some kind of dictatorship? Why ban me for simply stating the truth? It seems as though preferential treatment is being given to some posters. If I am banned I will truly say it is a sorry day to see what these boards have become, but if not then this thread should be a lesson to all, do not mess with the dictator, oops, I mean super moderator.

I am on this forum everyday so I hope nothing happens. I like all the useful information and cool things that people come up with. I am going to post on Wednesday with pictures when I get my car back with custom paint work done to calipers, grille, badges, hood vent strips, and smoked tail lights.

No offense, but I don't even understand why moderators ban people on forums any longer. With so many different forms of internet access (cell phones, home broadband, wifi from various restaurants) and free email accounts aplenty, it is very easy for someone to register again with a different username. Sure, eventually people may put two-and-two together and figure out who someone is, but honestly, I just don't see the point...

Bans may be useful for disruptive people with nothing to contribute. Mikey certainly does not fall into that category, and it's a shame that he got banned for trying to be helpful.

Mikey: Can't wait to see the upgrades. I'm going for headers, 172, and a tune, before any other cosmetic upgrades.

mikey33, it seems easy to rally the troops to your side and play tough guy when you have the ability to share your version of a story or truth as the only version.

The Mod involved with you would never stoop to posting the facts of this 1-week suspension you had to "endure". I, unfortunately, did not see the thread in question before it was deleted and cannot speak to its facts, but I do know that there are strict guidelines for group buys that have been posted on every forum on MBWorld, in the past. If you fail to get prior approval from the Admins here, the group buy gets deleted. If you ignore warnings and continue to commit the same infraction, you get suspended. Sound familiar?

All in all, I think you were treated very fairly and should take your lesson and grow from it, not try and retaliate towards the people that spend countless hours trying to keep this forum a pleasant place to visit and converse.
