If those half shafts survive that kinda torque off the line.....I think the German designer of the AMG rear half shaft system needs to be given a medal or something.
Just an amazing design to handle what us modded guys lay into it.

Very nice project. If you've done any drag racing you know that going from 11s to 10s is a bit of work. But going from 10s to 9s is significantly more work in any car. I think ~750rwhp will not be enough for a 4000lb car to dabble into 9s.
Best of luck to you. Are there a lot of E55s in 10s right now? Sorry I'm new to the Benz scene.

Trust me I hate putting things up and not providing any new type of update ...Lets see what marcin has for me this week. Project should have been complete a long time ago but it has been tough.
Sorry for the false hopes...hopefully will have something better to say soon.

Car is no longer at Speedriven, I picked it up about 1 month ago and is currently being worked on by my tech. Speedriven did the implant which was very successful. My tech has done the wiring and all oil connections and ECU programming along with all the little gremlins.
I will have updates this weekend with pictures and a full write up. As of now we have turned ignition on, she is fully assembled and we are planning on taking her around the block this saturday.
Still working on the drive shaft, exhaust and we have removed the stock turbos and plan on replacing with something else.

For me, the E55 will have one or two more mods and I'm done. GTR will be my fast car (hopefully get one in the next couple years).

Anyway the thing about the V12TT, in modified form (and in essence what Clarkson is saying about the Brabus v12) that concerns me most is "usable power and torque" ...I had a really good discussion with Marcin about this as well. After a certain point the performance envelope of a car is cut short due to the limiiting factors that translate the power the car is making. As such if the car is not designed around a particular target window it will not reach it's potential not because of it's power but due to it's inability to use the majority of what it's producing.

Believe me it's HARD to wait days and weeks and months for a car...ask me how I know

I will once she is finalized but I think there is a video of her on another thread.
As of right now she has turbos hanged and one side of the manifold done. Steady but surely.
