Manheim Request for M5??
Hey guys, I know this is a E55 forum but I was really hoping someone could help me out with the latest Manheim #'s for 2006 M5's. I am in the process of trading/selling my E55 for a 2006 M5. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I was just looking at those numbers yesterday with a friend of mine and the 2006 models ranged from $33k to $39k depending on mileage, condition, etc...

Honestly, I miss the SMG and interior. I had a e46 m3 a few years back and switched to a 335i Coupe. I really like the SMG and loved the interior of the 335i so the M5 is the best of both words (can't afford the current e9x M3's considering they are still close to 50k)
If I do end up trading the E55..I will definitely miss the TORQUE the M5 honestly felt SLOW compared to the E55.
Anyhow, can anyone please list the cars that were sold recently? I am specifically looking at one that was sold in the Manheim auction Bay Area around 3/1/2010 and has about 41-42k miles. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it

you said you miss SMG??? I've never herd that before. Everyone I know hates SMG, only people I know that like it are those who dont or dont know how to drive stick. Its totally numb and drives more jerky than actual manual. And I dont want to hear the excuse of, it shifts faster than manual......SMG = S****y automatic
Get a RS4, and I guarantee you everyone will support that one. Thats a real driving machine.

I've had an s2000 before and I just don't feel like driving a manual around the city

I love my E55 but there is something to be said about an M5. I personally like how my 545i with sport pkg drive better than my E55. I had to drive 6 hours yesterday and purposely took the BMW, just a better highway car imho. Interior is a toss up to me, neither is an Audi BTW, note the gas mileage of the M5, it's horrible...stopped me short of buying one...plus I hate the way the front sits higher on all m5s too
