What to do..New tires on stock 18's OR get new 19" E63 wheels?
What would you guys do...??
My tires on my E55 are gone! so Im debating on just getting new tires on the stock 18's OR getting a set of the 19" E63 wheels. I have a set of 19" Michellin tires sitting around that are the exact size that is need it.
My only concern is with the quality of the 19" E63 wheels. Since I know this are replica wheels I just wonder how strong they are? Our cars are pretty heavy so if I hit a pot hole are the wheels going to easily bend or break?
I need advice on this?

I have no problem with my 20" just know when to slow down and dodge pot holes. Doesn't matter what size or how expensive the wheel is, if it going to bent they going to bent you just can't control.

I also was wondering the same thing back in December. I went with 19" reps as a tire and whell package for about $1600 shipped. Excellent quality and no fit issues at all. Try http://www.usarim.com

Go for 19's and check this thread as the price seems really good for the E63 replicas. I'm planning to buy mine from here, just a really good price honestly.

The 19" will look allot better on your E55, but know this your ride quality will be less. the one thing is the better the wheel is, the lower the sidewall is to absorb impacts. i.e. potholes, bumps etc. It's just a matter of time, all wheels will bend no matter what. It's just a matter of how much of an impact they can take. Please consiuder that.
