LOL that is a confused bunch of kids over there best one was "there fast but break down alot". Reminds me of my cousin hes got a SRT 8 Jeep and he still makes excuses why im faster then him cause i weigh less and im superchargered blah blah blah give where credit is do is how i look at it simple as that.

I went on over and read what was posted and mostly it was respect for how blazingly fast anything AMG is. I think the children over there and children over here are very much alike.

They just managed to throw up the ugliest e55 I have seen as a reference to our cars. Either way, they seem like innocent people who know nothing about Mercedes except, we kill when needed!

as far as being misinformed, yes they are...but 3yrs ago i bet there were a few people around here that didn't know what an amg was, so i can cut them some slack in that regard.
the chargers actually weigh less...they're missing about 200-300lbs worth of luxury items.

If some of those guys only knew. I personally had no problem with a s/c'ed charger SRT-8.
This was with my old set up too...BUT...
Like Mikey has said, it is an old thread. I'm sure they know a lil more now...

Lets look at what we are comparing here. MB cars costing 80K, 100K+? Lets take, oh, a "poor man's" SRT8, add all the usual mods posted here, custom head work, add a SC unit, etc. What is the final cost? Maybe 60-65K? Now lets compare HP & TQ figures! Not to mention the absolutely LOUSY quality ratings of most MBs. Most ratings put a 9 y/o Lexus ahead of a new MB in quality!
