Links are added to trick the car into riding lower.
A ELM (Electronic Lowering Module) is a module plugged into the car that allows you to adjust the air in the suspension to how high or low you want the car.
Hands down, ELM is the way to go. It is also the most expensive.
Oh and PS...Your car has to have air suspension! Airmatic

Star is when a MB tech. or anyone who has access to a MB Star computer lowers your car. Most will not do it.

20" Wheel/Tire Fitment question
Not to hijack the thread, but I'm currently looking at a set of wheels (20x8.5" et36 front and 20x9.5" et43 rear), for my E55 and had two questions. Are the offsets correct in that the wheels will fit and not look sunken into the fenders and would 285x25x20(r) and 245x30x20(f) be the correct tire size?

I'm running the 20s with a Renntech ELM set on 2 for front and 5 for rear and no rubbing issues.
Front: 20x9 with 245-30-20
Rear: 20x10 with 285-25-20
Front: 20x9 with 245-30-20
Rear: 20x10 with 285-25-20
