Star Lowering,is it that rare?
So my dealer says, they never STAR lowered a Car before.
And i looked around, and seems that ACG in San Diego is the only place that does it.It is just so far away from me,and i can't seem to find the time to go over there. Is it possible that no one in the LA are knows how to do this?Seems like they could make some good money with it,considering the lack of places that can do this.

Find a local independent shop that does Mercedes and has STAR access. My dealership also turned me away, just tell them you will provide the instructions (found in the DIY link in this forum) and you should be good to go

I have found that 99% of dealers in California will NOT do this. To make matters worse, the ones I have asked tried to stop me from getting it and warrned me that they would void the warranty on the spot if I ever get it done ![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
Lowering via STAR, although easy, is a little tricky. I would be careful who I take my car to get it done. If the dealer has not done it plenty of time before, I would not take it there. You need to find a good (reputable) performance shop that has done repeatedly for a good period of time.
By the way, sometimes James travels up and down California, so you may be able to schedule an appointment with him along the way. Also, I believe Evosport, HMS, Brabus, etc... did it, so you may want to check with them as well.
