Depending on which TB you have on and the fittment, I can hook you up. No worries with a TB getting caught unless if it is just wired ugly. Only replace it if the TB is dead and even then you will want a bigger one anyways.

i currently have the stock TB 'grind'-- I was only considering a used one because of possible warranty issues.

Got it. Sounds like all you need is the TB itself and not the snout. The TB is cheap even new. Also, I have my old one that I need to pick up. If all you need is the TB itself, then swapping out is also easy since the snout is why the SC needs a lift.

yeah - i see some on ebay for $200 -- So, that is worst case -- but hopefully i can pick one up cheaper --- since i will not actually use it -- only want it -- in case i want to swap it out before i go to the dealer for warranty work.

I doubt the dealer will measure the TB when you go in for service unless the problem was directly related to that, but I understand where you're coming from...

The SA will know if a rep is coming when he calls it in. Make sure you are tight with your SA. If not, hit me up at jangy@yahoo.com and I will send you to fair people.

Is the TB mod obvious by looking? If not, no worries. MB won't investigate that stuff this late in the car's life cycle.
