anyone replace their own rear air bags?

i need to change my rear bags and was wondering if anyone has done it themselves and if yes, did you drop the rear end or can it be done in place with a few scrapes on the old knuckles

Yes its very easy, just one bolt at the bottom and a locating peg at the top.

just make sure you put the air bag in its compressed state (no air), make sure 100% that the airbag is folded inside itself when installing.

other wise when you drop the car down it will fold over on its self and damage/cut the the new rubber due to the wieght of the car.

when you replaced it, did you pull off the resivoir tank with it in one piece or did you cut the band and put a hose clamp on the new bag resivoir hose?
