Trailer hitch for E55
There was a thread on here last year about bike racks for the E55, but there were no responses. Does anyone on here have a 1.25'' receiver/hitch on their E55 or E-class? If so, can you send a picture? Thanks.

I don't know guys.... I have a roof rack that I take on and off when I go surfing... so, a hitch for a bike may not be as horrific a violation as first imagined... the key here is that it can come on/off so you aren't constantly driving around with the hitch.

bump.. I've been searching but have only found the curt and etrailer.com hitches which both say "minor facia trimming required". A foldaway one sounds amazing. I'm primarily looking for one that doesn't required cutting the AMG bumper on my e320 w/ AMG kit.
I would like to tow my motorcycle to track days with it and also carry road bikes.
My father tows his motorcycle behind his corvette so I figure why not with the E class?

I think this is the hitch you are looking for. I believe it is the 550 hitch, an OEM part from MB.
