Drove it home. Basically pristine. New brakes, IC pump, new rear tires, oil changed, steamed cleaned engine area, etc. One teensy weensy ding that I'll fix on my own. No hood nicks.
Merlot inserts, black birdseye maple. Sirius built in, pano, rearsunshade, nav, keyless go/entry, bixenon. Just like my old one but no parktronic.Steering feels quicker, which may be due to the new tires, or maybe I never had the upgraded steering rack on the '05 that I thought I had

2006 E55 AMG --old cars -- E39 M5, 2.7tt Audi S4, E36 M3 **Ducati 996, 748
congrats -- you spent a little over bluebook -- but its a bargain if you dont have any problems -- try and get an extended warranty ASAP -- not many companies will cover the car -- sooner you try and get one the better your chances -- Dont think you can wait until your current one expires -- no companies may cover the car by then --
my own experience - i got a super clean 2006 -- 2 times @ the dealer in the last 6 months = $10,000 in repairs --- and nothing you would consider major -- i have chrysler warranty :- )

If this car doesn't have any paint work then $37,000 for a CPO with 31,000 miles is pretty good deal. How many previous owners and was this at a Mercedes dealer ?
Enjoy the V8 Torque
