Robert,

You answered to yourself my friend.!,

1) 230.474 = {113.992} >>TB #: "113 141 05 25", which is (74mm), from [2003 to 2006]

2) 230.472 = {113.995} >>TB #: "113 140 01 04", which is (80mm), from [2007 to 2011]

ZAYED,,
no bro "113 141 05 25" is an 80mm TB!
as "carguyshu" said the europe version got the 80mm for 2002 year and US version got the 80mm for the 2007 and 2008, this is what i found in EPC.
the 74mm tb has the nb 113 141 01 25.

Yeah, you could be right Robort,

but open the EPC and press #20(which is a snout), it will shows a part #: "113 140 02 12 or 04 12", these #s refers to 74mm, while 80mm snout should to be "113 140 09 12"..!!

Got little confused yesterday, went to dealer today to confirm part #s:-

1) "113 141 01 25", (74mm) for N/A 430/500/55, from "2000 to 2006"

2) "113 141 05 25", (74mm) for all 55K's families (with TB harness) from "2003 to 2006"

2) "113 141 06 25", (74mm) for all 55K's families (without TB harness) from "2003 to 2006"

3) "275 140 00 04" & "113 140 01 04", (80mm) for only SL55K from "2007 to 2011"

ZAYED,,
ur are miss reading the info on epc,
the #20 for the snout shows 113 140 02 12 and they wrote in blue for year 2002, this is an 80mm snout for cars in the year 2002.
they show also the part nb 113 140 04 12, and they mentioned in blue for model year 2003, this is the 74mm snout for car in year 2003 to 2006.
the snout 113 140 09 12 is for year 2007 and up.

ZAYED,,
ur info are still confusing

there is only one 74mm tb (113 141 01 25) and there is only one 74mm 55k snout (113 140 04 12).
the part nb 113 141 05 25 is for an 80mm tb with harness
the part nb 113 141 06 25 is also for an 80mm tb without harness
those 2 part nbs are for the car i mentioned before (sl55 2002) and it has the snout 113 140 02 12.
the sl55 2007 and up has the tb 113 140 01 04 and the snout 113 140 09 12(80mm).
and yes the 275 one is also and 80mm tb for V12 tt and the 137 141 01 25 also is an 80mm for old V12 n/a.
those are the true and real part nbs.
thanks

Robert,

Are you saying "113 141 01 25" for 55K Engine..?,

one of my friend here got 2003 German spec., his professional MB, i asked him today, he said: i wish to have 2007, cause of 80mm TB..!

maybe i'm mistaken; but when i went to dealer today, workshop supervisor told me the same, NO 80mm TB before 2007, even German version..

SL55s (and the rest of the "AMG 55Ks") have 2 throttlebodies. (except some early 2002/2003s which had no "re circulation" throttle).

the part you are referring to "recirculating flap & harness" is mostly hidden (requiring the SC be removed to access it). This throttle is NOT the throttle to which everyone discusses increasing in size (to increase performance) but INSTEAD is the throttle that bypasses the supercharger.

this part (113 098 0150) comes with the extender harness attached. it retails for 1100 US (list) and wholesales for approx 770 US.

I will include a picture of one. If you look closely, you see a couple of part numbers on the throttle itself (111 098 0050)... if you hunt for this part number, I have seen it for as little as $300 (does not include harness which you can get from mercedes separately for $50)

Cheers,
Chris
